Endicott, NY - The Union-Endicott Tigers ground out 330 rushing yards en route to a 32-6 victory over the Ithaca Little Red at Ty Cobb Stadium Saturday night. The Tigers improve to 4-1 overall on the season, while Ithaca drops to 1-5.

The opening drive of the game, by the Tigers, was stopped by an Emilio Petricola interception in Ithaca territory; after the Little Red was forced to punt it away, U-E quarterback Brandon Diorio fumbled the football on the second play of the ensuing drive. Ithaca recovered it deep in the Tigers' end, but did not come away with any points.

A three-yard touchdown run by Michael Cheslock opened the scoring with 1:38 remaining in the first quarter. On the following drive by Ithaca, quarterback Chase Venuto lateraled the ball to Jaedon Henderson, who then fired a 59-yard touchdown pass to Wesley Sanders to cut the lead to 7-6 just 11 seconds into the second quarter. A failed two-point conversion attempt kept the Tigers up by a point.

Cheslock would score his second TD of the night on a 44-yard run with 6:36 remaining in the first half. Diorio then hit the left upright with his PAT, keeping the score 13-6 U-E. With 1:36 to go until halftime, Diorio hit Cameron Krowiak for a 48-yard TD pass to put the Tigers up 19-6. U-E would fail to convert a two-point conversion.

On the final play of the third quarter, Diorio tossed a 31-yard TD pass to Nick Yesensky; after missing the two-point conversion attempt, it was 25-6 Tigers.

U-E would tack on one final touchdown on a 17-yard run by Eddie Stewart with 3:29 to go in the game.

The Little Red will end the regular season with two home games against league opponents - Elmira on Friday 10/14 at 7:00pm and Binghamton on Friday 10/21 at 7:00pm.

Both games will be heard on RLM Sports.
