Ithaca, NY - Tyrel McKoy's third rushing touchdown of the night gave Ithaca a 12-point lead in the third, but Elmira would rally to victory, beating the Little Red 32-28 in its homecoming game.

Half of the game's eight touchdowns were scored in the first quarter. The Express opened up the scoring with 9:46 left on a 52-yard TD run by Eric Williams, followed by a two-yard conversion run by Trevor Maycumber. McKoy would answer with a 59-yard TD run with 7:39 remaining in the first. The two-point try came up short, leaving the score 8-6 Elmira.

With just under 4:00 left in the first, Williams scored on a three-yard run; Williams capped it off with a two-point run to give Elmira a 16-6 lead. With 1:45 to go, Eli Lasda would cut the Express lead to two with a three-yard scamper, followed by McKoy's two-yard conversion run.

A one-yard plunge by McKoy gave the Little Red its first lead of the game with about 3:00 left in the first half. IHS would fail to make the two-point conversion, and it was 20-16 Ithaca at the half.

Roughly 90 seconds into the third quarter, McKoy broke free for a 66-yard run; a two-point conversion by Ithaca quarterback Chase Venuto put Ithaca up 28-16.

With 2:38 remaining in the third, Elmira's Trevor Maycumber would run one yard for a score, and would cut the IHS lead to four points after DeBray Williams converted the two-point try.

Five seconds into the final quarter, Maycomber would score again on a four-yard run, and Jesse Sprague's two-point conversion put the Express back on top, 32-28.

The Little Red started its final drive on its own 27 after recovering an Elmira fumble, but would be denied by the Express defense.

One more regular season game remains for both teams; Ithaca will host Binghamton Friday night at 7:00pm, while Elmira will host Corning Saturday night.
