CORNING NY- Call it a nail biter...call it a game for the fans. It was full of scoring, penalties, and suspense as the Hawks held off the Raiders in a contest that had playoff implications. Adarious France scored three TD's for Corning while his Raider counterpart Clay Troia added two, but know  this, both Quaterbacks were outstanding overall. The Raiders dominated time of possession, keeping the Hawk defense on the field most of the first half. With the score knotted 28-28, France and the Hawks drove to the Horseheads 7 yard line with 54 seconds left in the game. It was then France called his own number and scored what proved to be the winning touchdown. Sam Crusha added the two point conversion for good measure. The Raiders had a last gasp to tie the score but Troia  was picked off by Trevon Wallace and the Hawks ran out the clock for their third win of the season. Corning travels to Binghamton next Friday while Horseheads will host Union Endicott next Saturday in a key divisional game.
